Answer a few questions about when the accident happened, the injuries involved and your recovery. We'll show the guideline brackets that may be relevant — without pretending that a bracket is a final settlement figure.

What shapes an injury valuation

The name of the injury does not determine its value on its own. A broken bone is not automatically worth more than a sprain: how long recovery takes—and any lasting effect on movement, daily life or independence—can be just as important when identifying the guideline bracket that may apply.

When an accident is recent, the long-term outlook may not yet be clear. Any early valuation should therefore be treated with caution, particularly if you are still recovering or do not yet have a reliable medical prognosis.

When did the accident happen?

Time matters because legal severity is influenced by how long symptoms last and what the medical evidence says about recovery.
